An exquisite Art Deco pressed slag glass centrepiece bowl, featuring stylised sculptural pigeon (dove) handles on either side. Crafted in the distinctive manner of STS Abel Zagreb (United Glass Factories), this footed pedestal bowl boasts a highly collectible marbled look, often referred to historically as Lithyalin, Marmorite, or Onyx glass.
Because each piece was individually poured, the swirling pattern is completely unique. It features a beautifully flared body, a scalloped rim, and a sturdy fan-shaped pedestal base that exemplifies classic 1930s Central European design.

Condition Report
Please review the condition details carefully before purchasing:
- Mould Lines: There are visible manufacturing mould lines from the production process. These look similar to hairline cracks in bright photos but are verified, smooth marks from the original 1930s iron press moulds.
- Base Wear: There are minor “nibbles” (tiny fleabites/rough edges) around the bottom edge of the pedestal base. These cannot be seen when the bowl is on display, but they can be felt by hand when handling the piece.
