Antique R.B. MacDonald “Beatrice” Locket Elongated Oval

This authentic turn-of-the-century piece is a beautiful example of late Victorian and Edwardian sentimental jewellery. The interior photo well is stamped with the famous “Little Beatrice” trademark by R.B. MacDonald & Co. (founded 1874). The clever maker’s mark forms a visual rebus word puzzle: the initials RBM sit above an engraved Bee, trailing down to the letters ATRICE to spell out “Beatrice.
