Design and Era Details
Dating from the mid-20th century (the Burkhardt hexagon hallmark was officially registered in September 1953), this hollow-constructed “puffy” locket opens smoothly to reveal two deep heart-shaped photo compartments. Both sides retain their original card inserts and protective silver retaining rims, making it easy to safely house your favourite photographs.
The pendant is paired with a high-quality, vintage 24-inch twisted rope chain featuring a secure spring ring clasp.

Condition Report: This necklace is in Excellent Vintage Condition. The hinge is tight, alignment is straight, and the locket snaps shut securely. The silver has a gorgeous, natural age patina inside the crevices which highlights the depth of the engraving. The back displays minor, standard surface wear consistent with age, but no deep scratches or dents.
