Art Deco Clutch Bag Black Leather Silk Lined & Silver Marcasite Clasp. A really stunning original art deco bag in good condition, with some wear to interior mainly to top of centre compartment. The Clasp is marked with the French Boars Head Hallmark and a makers mark along with “M-D”.
Plaited leather design to front and hand strap to rear. Inside its lined with moire lilac silk (has faded to a grayish Lilac which is has been difficult to pick up in photos) and soft leather pocket marked Made in England. The clasp pushes back to open and close with a snap.
Complete with its original card case and hand mirror (mirror worn and faded as shown).
